The University of Craiova (Universitatea din Craiova) is a public university founded in 1947, the largest higher education institution in the historical Oltenia region of Romania and a member of the European University Association (EUA). It operates 14 faculties and offers over 100 undergraduate, 98 master's, and numerous doctoral programmes spanning engineering, law, economics, sciences, humanities, and theology.
